David Safran
David is an operations-focused entrepreneur, investor, advisor and former CEO of various organizations which he led through successful private equity exits.
Prior to co-founding Euclid Capital, David was CEO of the Kissner Group, a North American manufacturer and distributor of bulk rock salt and packaged specialty de-icing products. David joined Kissner in 2009 and remained with the company as both the CEO and a significant shareholder until 2016. Under his leadership, Kissner executed a series of growth initiatives and strategic acquisitions which expanded its footprint across North America, growing into one of largest vertically integrated companies in the sector. David also led Kissner through two major private equity transactions and related financings to support the growth of the business. In 2020, Kissner was acquired by Stone Canyon Industries at a valuation of $2 billion.
Before joining Kissner, David was a senior M&A professional in some of Canada’s largest investment banks.
David is currently a director on the boards of AirSprint, CentriLogic, SunVest Solar and Polycor, Inc. (a dimensional stone company and platform investment of Torquest Capital Partners). David is a former board member of OneFloral Group.
Bram Walters
Bram is a business leader, investor, financial partner and advisor, with a long track record of success across multiple sectors including renewable energy, infrastructure and finance.
Currently Bram is the CEO of SunVest Solar, a leading renewable energy business headquartered in Chicago and a portfolio company of Euclid Capital. Bram led Euclid’s investment in SunVest, joining the board in 2020, before becoming its CEO in 2022.
Prior to co-founding Euclid Capital, Bram was Managing Partner, Energy & Renewables, at Forum Equity Partners, a leading infrastructure and real asset focused private equity investor, based in Toronto. While at Forum, Bram was a member of the investment committee and played a central role in all of Forum’s renewable energy investments.
Before joining Forum, Bram focused on cross-border M&A and project finance advisory. He was a Partner at Gryphon Partners, an independent global advisory firm focused on the resource sector, which was acquired by Standard Chartered Bank in 2011, where Bram eventually became Head of Canadian Mining & Metals M&A. Before joining Gryphon Partners, Bram worked in Mergers & Acquisition at a major Canadian investment bank and corporate finance at IBM. Bram has an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University and a BA in Economics from McGill University.
Bram currently remains on the board of SunVest Solar and is a former director of BioStar Renewables, United Wind and oneGRID.
